It’s the most enduring and endearing Libertarian meme: Who would build the roads?

Nobody really knows for sure who would build the roads in a Libertarian society. Most likely they’d be funded by the people who need them, just like every other product in a free market, right?

Here in the real world, the roads need constant upkeep, and the government is (obviously) not up to the task. As if to make the meme real, the Libertarian Party of Minnesota’s CD2 affiliate has adopted a stretch of highway abutting CD2 and CD5 and very close to CD3. It’s time to help clean it up!
